WACF honored by WPOA 

At the recent Wawasee Property Owners Association meeting aboard the SS Lillypad, the WACF was awarded the annual WPOA Chief’s award.  The award reads: ‘It is with extreme appreciation that the WPOA conveys the Chief Award to:  WACF recognizing your unending generosity and dedication to making sure that Lake Wawasee continues to be the Premier Lake in all of Indiana.’The WPOA also presented the WACF with a $5,000 donation.  Heather Harwood (left, executive director of WACF) accepted the award presented by Kay Young (right, president of the WPOA).

The WACF annual meeting in July celebrating the 25 years of WACF service to the watershed had a huge and enthusiastic attendance.  A delicious breakfast was provided by M the Market and reports on the history and future of the WACF were presented by David Brandes, Joan Syznal, Heather Harwood and Terry Clapacs.
