Conservancy Foundation
The WACF Mission
The Wawasee Area Conservancy Foundation, founded in 1991, protects and enhances the Wawasee Area Watershed for future generations. With over 1000 acres and 10 miles of shoreline preserved, WACF restores wetlands, controls erosion, and improves water quality. Supported by grants and community partners, WACF ensures clean water and a thriving ecosystem for years to come.


The WACF Board Of Directors
The WACF board consists of volunteer community members that serve a three-year term with a maximum of three consecutive terms. In addition, the board is assisted by an Executive Director, Development Officer, Education Officer and Land Management Officer.

There is no place like summer at Lake Wawasee. We at Wawasee Boat Company hope everyone is able to experience the wonder and joy of a Lake Wawasee summer. We are proud to be able to support the efforts of WACF in preserving our most precious summer spot now and into the future.
The Town of Syracuse Parks Department appreciates our partnership with the WACF. The collaboration on programs and activities has been very beneficial to both organizations.
