How To Find Wawasee Area
Conservancy Foundation
WACF Center
In 2008, WACF established its permanent home at the Levinson-LaBrosse Lakes & Wetlands Education Center. Nestled on 40 acres of wetlands, woods, and lakeshore near Syracuse, Indiana, this location on Lake Wawasee enhances our community presence and supports expanded educational programs.
Wetland Trails
Explore the scenic beauty of the Levinson-LaBrosse Lakes & Wetlands Education Center on our peaceful trails! Carved through 40 acres of wetlands, woodlands, and lakeshore, our three trails offer up to three miles of stunning views. Whether you join us for a special event like our Fall Trail Walk or take a relaxing stroll on your own, everyone is welcome to enjoy the trails.

Memory Garden
The WACF Memory Garden, created in 2017, offers a peaceful place to remember loved ones connected to Lake Wawasee. Located at the Levinson-LaBrosse Education Center, it overlooks the Conklin Bay wetlands and features native plants and a sandhill crane sculpture by Rick Lemberg, donated by Nancy and Robert Fanning.
