Earth Day Festival

Celebrate Earth Day with a community festival that brings together learning, stewardship, and hands‑on fun. This family‑friendly event invites visitors of all ages to explore how native plants, clean water, and healthy landscapes sustain life in our watershed. Throughout the day, guests can enjoy guided nature walks, kid‑friendly activities, live demonstrations, and conversations with local conservation partners who are working to protect the Earth. FREE admission with a FREE lunch of a hot dog, chips, and water!  Most activities are free, but jewelry, native plants, wood carvings, and more will be for sale.
Highlights include:
  • Native plant education — Discover how Indiana’s native species support pollinators, improve soil health, and strengthen local ecosystems.
  • Interactive demonstrations — Raptor birds will appear from noon to 2 PM.
  • Hands‑on activities for kids — See demonstrations on beekeeping,
wetland restoration, arrowhead making, and so much more
  • Community partners — Meet organizations dedicated to conservation, outdoor recreation, and environmental education. To celebrate America 250, there will be a
free flower give-away to the first 75 families in attendance
  • Seasonal stewardship tips — Take home simple, actionable ideas to support the watershed year-round.
The Earth Day Festival is a chance to celebrate the natural places we love while learning how each of us can help protect them. Join us for a day of inspiration, connection, and community action.
