Fishing with the DNR at Between the Lakes

Family Fishing Catch and Release Event with the DNR

The Wawasee Area Conservancy Foundation (WACF) and the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) are excited to invite you to a family fishing event at Between the Lakes, located across the street from the Channel Marker Restaurant.

Join us for a fun morning of fishing! DNR and WACF staff will be available to assist families with setting up, identifying the fish caught, and enjoying the great outdoors. This is a catch-and-release event. The DNR will provide fishing poles, but you are welcome to bring your own equipment as well.

This event is free of charge, but an adult must accompany the children. Adults will be responsible for helping to bait hooks and remove fish.
