The Wawasee Area Conservancy Foundation (WACF) invites lake enthusiasts to join an educational Lilly Pad Cruise on August 1, departing from the Frog Tavern dock at 10:00 AM. This adult-focused experience blends a relaxing morning on the water with practical, science-based guidance for improving shoreline health.

As we travel around Wawasee, participants will learn what makes a shoreline truly healthy—from native vegetation and stabilized banks to wildlife habitat. Local landscape and nursery businesses will highlight real shoreline challenges and success stories, offering clear, actionable insights you can apply at your own property.
